Time Management
Hello Everyone!
Let’s talk time management. There are only 24 hours in a day and at least seven of those are spent sleeping, two of those are in your car, 2-3 of those are dedicated to Netflix and as you can see there is little time left to rule your day. Managing your time is a huge part of being a CEO or business owner. The ultimate nightmare situation is double booking client calls and finding behind on emails. Time = Money.
Here are a few tips that help me manage my day and my priorities.
Tip #1 Set Goals For Your Day
Write out your daily goals
Make a list of your goals in order of priority
Create a checklist that can be crossed off or erased at the end of the day
Tip #2 Prioritize Your Day
Review your tasks and goals for the day
Place a number by each task in order of importance
Prioritize your tasks by deadline and time it takes to complete
Place a checkmark next to each task as you complete them
Tip #3 Prioritize Your Inbox
Flag any emails that must be answered immediately with a bright color
Use a color code or naming system to prioritize and organize tasks
Answer emails according to importance and length of response and/or research
Reply to those emails you cannot immediately or fully answer with a polite message informing them you will reply in-depth soon.
Tip #4 Take Breaks
Breaks are essential, you must let your brain rest and reset!
Hydrate
Eat
Sleep
Tip #5 Plan Ahead
Set daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals.
Schedule calls according to blocks of time available
Do not over book yourself
Schedule your week out and create time for yourself and your business
